A pioneer with a passion for the plant world, Guy Parthiot passed his work ethic on to his sons – Guillaume and Julien – who now work alongside him to help develop the company further. Together with their team, they cultivate family relationships based on their shared values: the quality of their products, taking pride in a job well done, and respect for customers.

It is in Chaserey (Aube), in the Grand Est region of France, that La Ferme Parthiot produces, harvests and processes its own pulses, using the latest technology to store, sort and package its products.

A CERTIFIED ORGANIC FARM
SINCE 2017

Dedicated to an environmentally friendly approach from the outset, Parthiot & Fils SARL became a certified organic farm in 2017. The company purchases organic pulses from its partner producers that are good for both people and the planet. The products are packaged directly on site. From the field right through to shipping, complete traceability guarantees the flawless quality of La Ferme Parthiot’s dried pulses.

The benefits of pulses

Pulses are particularly rich in plant proteins, fibre, minerals and vitamins and are low in fat, so they’re incredibly nutritious!

In addition, their low glycaemic index makes them particularly filling and gives you the energy you need for the day.

Furthermore, unlike many cereal products, pulses can also be enjoyed by people with a gluten intolerance.

Pulses play a vital role in the plant world due to their ability to exploit gaseous nitrogen in unlimited quantities in the air (unlike other plants, which can only use mineral nitrogen in a limited quantity in the soil). The presence of pulses in agricultural production helps to promote the biodiversity of local areas. They also help to balance agro-ecological systems.
